La serie trata sobre las desventuras de Mark Lilly un trabajador social de Nueva York que trabaja en la oficina de integración de la ciudad , siempre tratando de ayudar a sus pacientes (quienes son inmigrantes) a integrarse a la vida en esa pluricultural ciudad.
